The scoring rests on an October 2026 study of small-business websites across the US: 13,342 attempted, 10,369 scored, an average of 67.1 out of 100. The scoring weights follow what that study showed. Read the study.
One honest limit
The score measures how completely AI systems can read a site. It does not measure, and cannot guarantee, whether an assistant will cite or recommend the business. That also depends on reviews, directories, competition, and the question asked.
